This formula includes all types of trigonometric identities and functions. For example, sine, cosine, tangent, secant, cosecant, and cotangent. Trigonometry formulas are applicable for a right-angled triangle which is made up of, hypotenuse, base, and perpendicular. Base and hypotenuse are perpendicular to each other.

The list of different formulas that are used to determine the length of sides and angles of a triangle is known as trigonometry formulas. The following points are the types of trigonometry formulas in detail.

  1. The trigonometry formulas that are related to the basic trigonometric ratios are known as basic trigonometry formulas. The ratios are sine, cosine, and tangent.
  2. The formula that deals with the reciprocal of the trigonometric ratios are known as reciprocal identities. For example, the reciprocal of sine, cosine, and tangent is cosecant, secant, and cotangent.
  3. The trigonometry values are depicted from the standard angles in the standard table—for example, 1/2, 1, 0, and so on.

A rhombus is a two-dimensional mathematical figure whose sides are equal to each other. It is also considered a special type of parallelogram. Examples Based on the Area of Rhombus

As mentioned above, the mathematical formula to find the area of rhombus is b * h where ‘b’ is the base of the rhombus and ‘h’ is the height of the rhombus.

Example 1: Find the area of the rhombus, provided that the base and height of the rhombus are 4 cm and 6 cm respectively.
Solution:

Given that,

The base of the rhombus = 4 cm

Height of rhombus = 6 cm

Using the formula = b * h.

4 cm * 6 cm = 24 cm square units.

Hence, the area of a rhombus is equivalent to 24 cm square units.

 

Example 2: Find the area of the rhombus, provided that the base and height of the rhombus are 5 cm and 10 cm respectively.
Solution:

Given that,

The base of the rhombus = 5 cm

Height of rhombus = 10 cm

Using the formula = b * h.

5 cm * 10 cm = 50 cm square units.

Hence, the area of a rhombus is equivalent to 50 cm square units.
